The 2020 wildfire season so far has offered no relief, with CAL FIRE reporting over four million acres burned calendar year to date, more than the two prior calendar years combined. California property owners are finding it increasingly difficult to obtain insurance coverage in the voluntary market in the wake of back-to-back years of devastating fires.
